Sanjay Leela Bhansali drops Salman, picks SRK
Mumbai: The Khan enmity might just grow stronger in due course. Yes! We are talking about Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s cold war.Buzz has it that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning to rope in Shah Rukh for his ambitious film ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
After the success of ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, SLB had planned to make ‘Bajirao Mastani’ with Salman and Aishwarya in the lead. But his dream crashed post Salman and Ash’s much publicized break-up.
Even Bhansali’s equation with Salman turned sour eventually. But now, the filmmaker is
contemplating reviving his plans of making the epic film.
Talking to a daily, a source said, “Initially, Bhansali was planning to offer the role of Bajirao to Salman Khan but Salman and he had a panga and now SLB`s dropped the idea of doing it with Salman. Recently, he met Shah Rukh Khan and gave him a one-line narration. SRK was very excited and now the duo has planned to meet up soon for a proper narration."
